About the Beale Street Music Festival
Beale Street Musical Festival always kicks off the wider Memphis in May celebrations. It takes place over three days on four stages, bringing the best in music to the 33-acre site in Tom Lee Park, on the banks of the Mississippi.
With a great reputation and a distinguished Beale St "alumni" - including the likes of B B King, Al Green, Van Morrision, Ray Charles, Isaac Hayes, Lynyrd Skynryd, Willie Nelson, George Clinton & Parliament/Funkadelic and Ike Turner & The Kings of Rhythm - Tom Lee Park has a reputation for playing host to a major May musical feast.
