While many airlines are reducing service to other less populated regions of Iowa, service to and from The Eastern Iowa Airport continues to grow, and we're just as popular with shippers as we are with passengers. We handle more than 36,000 tons of air freight and cargo annually. The Eastern Iowa Airport is a 3,288 acre facility owned by the City of Cedar Rapids and operated by the Cedar Rapids Airport Commission.
