The Port of Huntsville is an inland port that combines the Huntsville International Airport, International Intermodal Center and Jetplex Industrial Park. The entities that comprise the Port of Huntsville strive to move people and products efficiently throughout the global marketplace with on site services.
The Port of Huntsville's mission is simple. We provide quality and user-friendly multi-modal transportation services to a diverse regional customer base and stimulate the economic growth and development of the Tennessee Valley Region.
Travelers throughout our 18-county service region of North Alabama and South Central Tennessee have their choice of air carriers. American Airlines, American Eagle, ASA, Comair, Continental Express, Delta Air Lines, Northwest Airlink and US Airways Express all provide service in and out of Huntsville, AL. In addition to the passenger services provided, we also offer business opportunities through air and rail cargo services at the International Intermodal Center and through the many businesses and industries throughout the Jetplex Industrial Park. To truly compete globally in these arenas, one must offer something extra. That is why the Port of Huntsville also has the advantage of on-site U.S. Customs and USDA inspectors as well as being home to Foreign Trade Zone No. 83.
