Little Rock Airport Welcome to Little Rock National Airport. Little Rock National, the 79th largest commercial service airport in the nation, handles about 2.6 million passengers annually.
Little Rock National is the major link in the commercial air transportation system for a large majority of the State of Arkansas. It also attracts passengers from a number of surrounding states.
During the 1990s, more than $170 million in capital improvements were made at the airport to ensure that it could continue to well serve the traveling public into this new century.
The latest improvement -- the $30 million parking deck/terminal improvement project - was recently completed. The parking deck is connected to the terminal via a skybridge, allowing customers to go from car-seat-to-plane-seat out of the weather.
This most recent project has resulted in the creation of eye appealing new spaces as well as significant upgrades to existing spaces at the airport.
The space devoted to concessions at the airport has been greatly expanded, giving customers more choice from more locations than ever before.
At Little Rock National, quality facilities and quality air service go hand in hand. The airport is served by American, American Eagle, Atlantic Southeast Airlines, Comair, Continental Express, Delta, Northwest, Northwest Airlink, Southwest and USAirways Express.
There are more than 120 flights into and out of Little Rock every day. Non-stop jet service is offered to a number of destinations, including 13 national/international gateways, making Little Rock truly one stop away from the world! The flights are frequent. The fares competitive.
The Regional Jet made its first appearance at Little Rock National in 1997, with three daily flights by Comair to Cincinnati. Comair has now been joined by American Eagle, Continental Express, Northwest Airlink and USAirways Express in operating the Regional Jet at Little Rock National. From three RJ flights in 1997, the airport now has almost 20 Regional Jets flights per day to Charlotte, Cincinnati, Dallas/Fort Worth, Detroit, Houston and Pittsburgh.
