Winter Sports Centre

Located on campus at the corner of Wesbrook Mall & Thunderbird Blvd, the Thunderbird Winter Sports Centre (TWSC) services student and public user groups year 'round. As well, the TWSC is home to both the UBC Thunderbird men's and women's hockey teams.

The facility houses four ice rinks, six squash & racquetball courts, a fully licensed restaurant & sports bar (the Thunderbar & Grill) and banquet & meeting space. Skating and hockey is what we do best, but our staff and facility are able to service many other student and public needs including dry floor rentals, birthday parties & special occasions, retail sales, equipment repair and much more.
